bernie madoff newyork Madoff Arrives at Prison for a 150 Year StaySupreme goniff Bernie Madoff, 71, finally checked into what will be his final resting place, Butner Federal Correctional Complex in North Carolina. His expected release date is Nov. 14, 2139. And even that’s too soon.

Perhaps Madoff will be able to attend Swindlers Anonymous meetings with fellow inmates John and Timothy Rigas, the heads of Adelphia Communications, who were sentenced for securities fraud in 2004 after ‘borrowing’ $3.1 billion from the company, bankrupting it and thus screwing its employees out of their jobs and pensions.

And still, that’s nothing compared to the damage Madoff did. Good riddance!
