Brooklyn’s Finest

The new film Brooklyn’s Finest is coming out soon and stars: Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle, Richard Gere and Wesley Snipes. It appears to be very similar to a previous film by the same director, Training Day…but still looks awesome.
What’s interesting is that during the filming (in Brooklyn, NY) actor Ethan Hawke decided to stop at a diner with some of the cast and crew. While there he witnessed a real life hit just across the street.
He recalls, “It’s not even a joke… it was a full-blown assassination and they accidentally killed the guy cutting his hair -- it was a woman cutting his hair. It was terrible. I stood there, like, an actor in a movie. I kept expecting the AD (assistant director) to go, ‘Cut, cut…’ The police shut the block down.”
Now that is some crazy shit. Hope the movie is as exciting.
