Crazy Nicollette Sheridan

So, in a plot twist worthy of the show, Nicollette Sheridan has decided to sue show creator Marc Cherry for assault and wrongful termination. This came about just after the actress’s crazy character Edie was killed off the show.
She filed a complaint in 2008 stating:
“On September 24, 2008, during a rehearsal for the show, when Sheridan questioned Cherry about something that was in the script, Cherry took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head.”
Sheridan wants $20 million in damages but the problem is ABC investigated and found no evidence to support the claim. The ever-reputable TMZ did some investigating of their own.
Harvey Levin of celebrity news site TMZ.com and host and executive producer of TMZ the show said Tuesday on the TMZ Live webcast: “We talked to six people who worked on the set, and they said they never heard anything like this.” He noted that “ABC said they investigated this and never saw anything.”
