Crystal Bowersox Breaks Up With Boyfriend

American Idol’s second place winner Crystal Bowersox is single.
Bowersox, 24, and boyfriend Tony Kusian, 26, broke up the day before the Idol finale. She talked about it to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show :
“He went home. He wasn’t cool with the lifestyle. I didn’t break up with him. It was a mutual thing. It’s cool, though. We’re both logical, grown adults.”
“He’s a small-town guy and it’s fine. But I’m a small-town girl [and] I want this. I want this more than anything — this career, this lifestyle. I didn’t think he was up for it. He didn’t think he was up for it.”
Kusian left Los Angeles Tuesday, the day of Bowersox’s final performance, which seems pretty sucky. But Bowersox says it “set that fire in my belly.” She was awesome Tuesday night, so maybe it was a good thing.
