Leif Garrett Arrested for Heroin Possession

If you were alive during the 1970′s, you know who Leif Garrett is. He was a teen idol; all three Jonas brothers rolled into into one sexy rebellious package. But since his heyday, he’s been in a downward spiral of drug and alcohol abuse.
Tuesday, Garrett, 48, was arrested for heroin possession for the third time. And if that’s not shocking enough, he was about to board a subway in Los Angeles! (Few people take the subway in LA. It probably means he doesn’t own a car – just my guess. Or maybe he doesn’t drive because of his 1979 DUI crash that left his friend disabled.)
Police approached him because “he was sweating and shaking profusely.” That’s when they discovered black tar heroin in his shoe.
Garrett was arrested for heroin possession in 2006, also in a Los Angeles subway station. And in 1999, he was arrested in a park, trying to buy drugs from undercover officers.
He should realize by now, he was made for dancing, not drug deals:
