Fox’s WNYW news anchor Ernie Anastos made the weirdest gaffe on camera Wednesday, and now it’s all over the internet.
After weatherman Nick Gregory gave the weather report, Anastos said, “”I guess it takes a tough man to make a tender forecast,” a play off the old Perdue chicken ads, which Gregory didn’t seem to understand. Then Anastos got even stranger, saying, “Keep fucking that chicken.” To which Gregory laughed and replied, “Okay. I’ll do that.”
But my favorite part is the look on co-anchor Dari Alexander’s face (see picture). If her news career ever goes south, she has a bright future in silent movies.
