Survivor Richard Hatch Arrested after Today Show Interview

Richard Hatch, the first million dollar winner on Survivor, was arrested four years ago for tax evasion regarding his show winnings. He is currently on house arrest in Rhode Island. At least he was until yesterday.
Hatch has not been allowed to speak publicly about his incarceration for four years, but recently got permission to do an interview on the Today Show. In fact, Matt Lauer/NBC also says they got legal permission to conduct the interview. But afterwards, officers came to Hatch’s sister’s house (where he’s been living) and took him away to jail, saying he violated the terms of his house arrest by doing an interview.
Maybe it wasn’t the interview itself that got them mad but what Hatch said in the interview. He insisted he is innocent and said he would never have been arrested had he not been gay.
