susan boyle Susan Boyle Sings on Larry KingOver 30 million people worldwide have watched the You Tube video of Susan Boyle on Britain’s Got Talent.

She has become an overnight sensation, and not just on the Internet. This week alone she appeared on Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News, Larry King Live, the BBC and numerous shows in the UK. She has even been invited to be on the Oprah Winfrey Show (which could make her our next president).

It’s not just that Boyle has a lovely voice. It’s the way she surprised everyone, so ready to laugh at her because of her age, matronly look, and claim she’s never been kissed. As soon as the first note left her mouth, the audience began cheering and never stopped. Her song choice, ”I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables, instantly became her triumphant anthem, resulting in a transcendent experience full of hope for so many doubting their dreams can come true during this global economic crisis.

Now everyone is clamoring for more of Susan Boyle’s singing. A recording of “Cry Me a River” she did for a charity in 1999 is now another You Tube hit, as is her recent a cappella version of “My Heart Will Go On” performed on Larry King Live
