Two Voted off American Idol

It was a big week on American Idol. Wednesday night’s double elimination was half predictable and half surprise. Lil Rounds’s exit was announced first because everyone knew it was her week to go. And it led to one of her best performances of the season. Maybe losing was what she needed to light the fire in her singing. It’s too bad; she was an early favorite but never delivered on the expectations.
Then it was down to Allison Iraheta and Anoop Desai. I was really nervous because Allison’s one of my favorites and it seems like the boys are getting all the votes this year. But Anoop was the one to go home. I never liked him. I admit he has a nice voice, but he has no star quality. And he was way too cocky and frat boyish to get the underdog vote. So goodbye and good riddance to Anoop Dog.
