Bayless Uses Illegal Bacon

Rick Bayless, world famous chef and restaurateur has been targeted by the Illinois Department of Agriculture for using “illegal” bacon.
The department showed up at his Frontera Grill in Chicago and confiscated an 80-lb box of bacon that had not been inspected by the state of Illinois. I guess in his quest for the finest ingredients he may have bypassed the system. But do you, the consumer really care? Bayless is one of the top chefs in the world and just the mention of his food makes my mouth water. I could care less what the Dept of Agriculture says…I trust the chef and the ingredients he chooses.
All of the other meats at Frontera Grill were ok…but damn, I bet that was some tasty bacon!
