Daring Dog Rescue from LA River

The Los Angeles Fire Department carried out a daring rescue of a dog trapped in the Los Angeles River today.
First, when the poor pup was found amidst the rising waters, firefighters threw down a float ring, hoping the dog would grab onto it. It didn’t.
A firefighter was then lowered from a helicopter to snatch the dog and fly it to safety.
