Murder Death Kill

Personally, I don’t give a sh*t which side of the fence you’re on when it comes to the question of pro-life vs. pro-choice. But what happens when a man takes the life of a man who was going to take the life of an unborn man? Think about it…
Scott Roeder of Missouri did just that. He shot and killed Dr. George Tiller, a Kansas abortion provider, at his church in Wichita this past May. Roeder is being charged with first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault. He has pleaded not guilty and will be headed to trial in January.
The question on my mind is “what is the appropriate punishment for this crime”? He undoubtedly faces the death penalty and I wouldn’t feel the least bit squeamish if he got it. But, does that send the right message? In a statement by Roeder:
“Because of the fact preborn children’s lives were in imminent danger this was the action I chose. … I want to make sure that the focus is, of course, obviously on the preborn children and the necessity to defend them.”
At what point do we stop the killing? Is taking life ever justified? And who decides what is right and wrong?
I think that every man has to decide what is right and wrong for himself. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what happens with this trial. This isn’t the first of its kind but I feel that the issue gets more and more blurry as the human race “advances”.

I think he needs to be put a way, for life. What do you guys think?
