Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are NOT Dating

According to an interview with Robert Pattinson in the latest edition of Vanity Fair, he and co-star Kristen Stewart are just “good friends”.
Well that’s good news! She is gorgeous and she is definitely WAY too hot for him (but that’s like only an opinion).
The Twilight franchise has certainly catapulted them both into the spotlight and for months now we’ve been hearing rumors of the two stars dating, engaged, etc. It’s only natural that the public would surmise that two good looking people would end up together. But did you know that the studio had doubts that Pattinson could pull off the role initially? According to director Catherine Hardwicke:
‘Catherine, do you think you can make this guy look good?’ ” Hardwicke recalled being asked. “So I said, ‘Here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to get his hair back to a different color, do a different style. He would work with a trainer from now on. My cinematographer is great with lighting. He will study the cheekbones, and I promise you, we’ll make the guy look good.’ “
Wow, sounds like the director really went to bat for this relatively unknown actor, before he landed the Twilight gig. I don’t recall hearing anything like that regarding the ever-stunning Kristen Stewart who made men everywhere melt with her performance in Into The Wild as well as her brooding and sexy role in Adventureland. Nevertheless, they have both enjoyed massive fame from the Twilight series but according to Pattinson:
“It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids],” he says in the December issue of Vanity Fair, “I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like, ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like, ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’”
