Snookie Punched in the Face

MTV reality show ‘Jersey Shore’ cast member, Nicole “Snookie” Polizzi, was punched in the face at the Beachcomber Bar & Grill in Seaside Heights, NJ.
Snookie was attacked by Brad Ferro, a gym teacher at North Queens Community High School. Apparently, he was drunk and had been advised by Beachcomber bouncers to stop drinking. He ignored this advice, stealing drinks from the cast members, then engaged in a verbal altercation with Polizzi before punching her in the face and knocking her to the floor.
MTV has decided to pull the clip from the episode saying:
“What happened to “Snooki” was a crime and obviously extremely disturbing,” said an MTV spokesman in a statement. “After hearing from our viewers, further consulting with experts on the issue of violence, and seeing how the video footage has been taken out of context to not show the severity of this act or the resulting consequences, MTV has decided not to air Snooki being physically punched in next week’s episode. The show will still make it clear what events transpired, including the full aftermath.”
However, as we all know, drama only helps the ratings. Stay tuned to see what else happens on this season of Jersey Shore.
