    There is a difference between deregulation and lack of government oversight. Deregulation is giving the market its freedom. Lack of oversight is the government negating its responsibility.

    You are so right, However, no-one has mentioned in the ODAMA admin, reversing the laws that were so laxed in the Clinton Admin. Housing laws and Voting against Wall Street (in place since 1930's). This is the largest contributor of this financial meltdown we see today. Will the next admin. reverse these laws so we can have some decent laws over the money making companies in this country?????
